Sticker and Label Artwork Guidelines
Die-cut stickers, sticker sheets and roll labels.
Stickers
- Supply a PDF in CMYK at 300dpi, with fonts embedded or outlined and 1 PDF per design.
- Include crop marks and 5mm bleed past your cut line. Keep text and logos at least 3mm inside it.
- Overlay your cut line on the artwork as a spot colour, set to overprint.
Choosing a shape
- Simple shape: one smooth cut with no holes, such as a circle.
- Custom shape: basic irregular shapes, such as a star, or shapes with cutouts or holes.
- Cut to your artwork: a detailed outline that follows your design or text.
Labels
- Supply a print-ready file: PDF, CMYK, 300dpi, fonts embedded or outlined.
- Tell us if the roll direction matters. On rectangular labels, the leading edge is the first dimension in the size.
- Clear and silver foil labels use white ink with CMYK to create their effect. Call us before setting up these files.
